Voting Days

Voting for the 2024 - 2025 GAPSS Executive election will take place between 9:00 am on Wednesday, March 20th and 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 3rd.

Candidate Information

Decide who you’ll cast your vote for during the campaign period leading up to the election by following the campaigns on social media and chatting with candidates.

Voter Eligibility

To be eligible to vote in any GAPSS election, you must, at the time of voting:

  • Be a current undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Alberta; and

  • a member of the Geography and Planning Students’ Society.

Membership Requirements

  • Membership is open to all current undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at the University of Alberta.

  • To be considered a member of the Geography and Planning Students’ Society, students must be subscribed to the GAPSS newsletter.

Where Do I Vote?

Voting will take place online. The online voting system can be accessed using a phone or computer. When voting you will be required to log in with your University of Alberta email account in order to cast your ballot.
